A MEZZANO, NEL TABIÀ, RISUONANO LE VOCI DEI BAMBINI

Il “tabià del Checo” – un fienile in legno dove le famiglie portavano a essiccare il foraggio e si riunivano per stare insieme – è un luogo, nel centro storico di Mezzano, che profuma di legno antico, di passato ma che è allo stesso tempo spazio aperto a nuove storie e possibilità.
Che succede se un giorno l’Amministrazione comunale chiede alla scuola dell’infanzia di riempire con i propri pensieri e idee questo tabià?
Accade che il fienile diventa un luogo che accoglie i punti di vista dei bambini facendo risuonare le progettualità di scuola e le esperienze di apprendimento. Insegnanti e bambini cominciano infatti a immaginare che il tabià potrebbe diventare inizialmente uno spazio mostra dove – come dice un bambino nello stralcio di una discussione di seguito riportata – “Tutti vedano che siamo esperti di cose che interessano”.
- Insegnante: “Cos’è una mostra?”
- “Qualcuno fa una creazione e poi la mostra a qualcuno”
- “No, fanno insieme una creazione e poi la mostrano a tutti”
- “Qualcuno se vuole può aggiungere anche un altro pezzo”
- “Diventa una cosa che non hai mai visto”
- “Apri il museo e metti dentro quella cosa che nessuno ha mai visto. Poi apri il museo così tutti vedono”
- “Tutti vedono che siamo esperti di cose che interessano”
- “Già, abbiamo pensato nella mente le idee, poi abbiamo provato e riprovato e alla fine abbiamo fatto giusto”
Ecco allora che il secondo piano dell’edificio, del tabià, si anima con disegni e pensieri dei bambini e con dei pannelli esplicativi realizzati dalle insegnanti che raccontano una delle esperienze interessanti svolta durante il presente anno scolastico: la creazione dell’aiuola di comunità, un piccolo angolo in paese progettato e realizzato dai bambini attraverso continui confronti e discussioni per decidere insieme:
- “Secondo me starebbe bene il timo”
- “Lo ha anche la nonna e profuma e poi non ha bisogno di tanta acqua, la nonna dice che lui si arrangia a vivere”
- “Sarebbe bello mettere un prato di quadrifogli”
- “No, semmai in mezzo ad un prato di trifogli nasce qualche quadrifoglio”
- “Eh …sì, i quadrifogli sono molto rari ci vuole un miliardo di fortuna a trovarli”
- “Te l’ho già detto che il quadrifoglio è la pianta della fortuna!”
- “Nella nostra aiuola starebbero bene le ninfee blu”
- “Tipo quelle del zoo safari”
- “Si tipo quelle del lago di Calaita solo che quelle sono gialle”
- “Ma scusa se non c’è acqua come si fa?”
- “Ma mettiamo la fontana”
- “No se pol meter la fontana, no ghe ne gnanca i tubi…”
Dal racconto delle insegnanti emerge quanti apprendimenti si celino dietro la creazione di un’aiuola: partecipando a un’esperienza comune i bambini esprimono idee e proposte, gestiscono momenti di disaccordo e divergenza, negoziano tra punti di vista diversi, pongono attenzione alle competenze dell’altro. Mettendo in moto ricerca, partecipazione, curiosità, piacere di conoscere i bambini si confrontano su quello che già conoscono e, sulla base delle loro conoscenze pregresse, costruiscono nuovi apprendimenti.
Il tabià pian piano si anima e – accanto ai disegni, alle parole dei bambini e ai pannelli esplicativi – iniziano a trovare spazio anche giochi da sperimentare e un angolo lettura con interessanti albi illustrati.
Lo spazio, inaugurato alla presenza del sindaco di Mezzano Zugliani Giampiero e del Presidente della scuola Marco Zeni, è pronto ad accogliere i visitatori.
Questo progetto pone in risalto l’importanza di una reciprocità generativa: da un lato una comunità che cerca la voce della scuola e dall’altro lato una scuola che si apre al territorio condividendo un’idea di infanzia che riconosce i bambini non come “esecutori” di quanto desiderato dall’adulto ma come realmente portatori di una ricchezza di pensiero da valorizzare.
Ora il tabià può essere visitato da tutti, le sue porte sono sempre aperte!
